Are you having a hard time quieting the negative thoughts in your head? Are you struggling to keep up with everything in your life? Do you feel trapped by painful memories or experiences? Whatever it is that you’re dealing with, the fact that you landed on this page means you’ve already taken an important step to begin learning how to manage what life has thrown at you and to create a life worth living. I specialize in helping individuals with depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, and relationship challenges, with a focus on supporting adolescents and young adults in the LGBTQ+ community and those on the gender spectrum. I have experience across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and public schools, and a strong background in working with individuals affected by intimate partner violence. My journey with therapy personally inspired me to become a clinical social worker, as I experienced firsthand how transformative and essential the process can be. I understand the courage it takes to start something new and unfamiliar, and I recognize that each person’s path is unique. I’m here to meet you where you are, and together, we'll explore what the next step in your journey will be. I’m excited to get to know you! Outside of my work, I like to recharge by spending time with my loved ones and enjoying simple, fulfilling activities. In my free time, you'll find me building Lego with my wife, playing with my cats, or soaking up some fresh air outdoors.
In our first session, you'll share your story and we’ll work together to clarify what you want to get out of therapy. I focus on creating a space that feels safe and supportive by really listening, being present, and meeting you with empathy—so you can feel comfortable opening up and being real, even with the tough stuff. In the sessions that follow, we'll work together to turn your goals into a reality.
The treatment approaches I use are tailored to each client's unique needs, recognizing that different methods can be effective at different times during therapy. I draw from a variety of techniques, including CBT, DBT, ACT, ERP, IFS, and traditional talk therapy. I also believe in the power of creative approaches—such as art and music—to explore thoughts and feelings in a way that can be both meaningful and enjoyable.
I believe one of my greatest strengths is creating a safe, compassionate space where people feel truly heard and understood—something clients often say they sense right from our very first conversation
I’m passionate about working with individuals dealing with anxiety and OCD; those who may feel overwhelmed by their thoughts or emotions and are looking for a supportive space to find clarity and build coping skills. I love working with young people navigating life transitions, helping them feel more confident and connected as they manage stress, anxiety, and uncertainty. Together, we’ll explore tools and insights to help you feel more at ease.
