Hello! My name is Stacey Shine. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, past trauma, or simply feeling overwhelmed by daily life, therapy can offer clarity and relief. I work with individuals (ages 10 and up) and couples to explore what’s not working, uncover inner strengths, and develop practical tools for real, lasting change. Clients often share that they feel at ease in our sessions—that therapy feels low-stress, grounded, and collaborative. My goal is to create a space where you can speak freely, feel safe, and do meaningful work toward your personal goals. My approach is warm, direct, and personalized. I draw from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, The Gottman Method for couples, and Strengths-Based techniques. Whether we're tackling anxiety, improving communication, or building resilience, we'll move at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy doesn't have to feel intimidating. It can be a supportive space to pause, reflect, and grow—and you don’t have to do it alone. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will really get to know one another. I will ask you some questions to better understand what is going on. From there, I tailor sessions based on what is most needed.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel like my biggest strengths are working with individuals and families. Family dynamics are HARD. I love coming alongside those struggling with family issues such as anxiety, trauma, interpersonal relationships and working together to repair wounds and thrive in the future.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a popular form of therapy that I have used for many years. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We will then challenge those thoughts and help you work through any issues that may be impacting your day to day life in a negative way.

Couples Counseling

I enjoy working with couples and helping them to find solutions together as a unit. I first help them identify the issues then also remember why they became a couple to begin with. Once we establish where their foundation was started from, we work together to build it back up. I am also a trained facilitator in a premarital counseling through a program - Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

With solution focused treatment, I focus on just that - finding solutions. We will work on figuring out how to pinpoint troubling behaviors, circumstances, etc and navigating you to a solution.
