Welcome! It takes courage to reach out for help and I appreciate you. My name is Marlana and I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in New Jersey. I received my MA, EdM from Columbia University, NYC and have been practicing for over 25 years. I enjoy working with adults with depression, anxiety, life transition issues and especially those struggling with addictions.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We will start with an introductory meeting to find out what brought you to therapy and things you would like to work on. From there, I will provide a warm and inviting setting where you can explore your feelings, all the while providing a safe setting. We will set up a treat plan with realistic goals so that you may achieve you full potential.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with many individuals for the past 25 years, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress for your overall wellness. By offering empathy, open communication, develop solutions together, we will build trust to provide compassionate acre and positive outcomes.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. Once we decide to work together, we’ll act as partners in your therapeutic journey. It’s important to me that we communicate openly and you feel respected in our relationship. I’ll be there to listen to you, challenge you, and support you along the way in a non judgmental environment.
